Not every cricket scoreboard needs to display a Target.
If your priority is simply showing Runs, Wickets and Overs, removing the dedicated Target panel can produce a smaller and simpler scoreboard.
Our 64 × 48 cm model displays Runs and Wickets together, for example 126-8, using numbers approximately 10 inches high.
Overs are displayed separately using characters approximately 8 inches high.
Why Remove the Target?
A separate Target panel requires additional display area.
If the Target is not essential for your competition, that extra area may not provide enough value to justify the larger overall scoreboard.
Remote Operation
The scoreboard can still be operated using a long-range remote with up to approximately 500 metres of open-field range.
A browser-based phone interface provides a second method of operation.
At approximately 5 kg, the scoreboard remains portable while providing considerably more display area than the smallest models.
For clubs that primarily want the current score and overs, removing the Target section keeps the design focused on the information they use most.
